Dry ferts...sell by date?

Hi
Just wondering if dry ferts will become less affective with age.
I was workin out how long mine would last and it seems that i got a few years worth left.
Not sure if its better to buy in bulk ..hence my question

As long as they are kept dry and don't show any disscolouration they should be fine
