I'm getting impatient with this Mini M as I can't use the CO2 or lilies until the 10 liter is finished, so I am contemplating a dry start. Just until the plants get rooted really, unless they really take off. Plant choice is HC, Glosso, E. Parvula and Crypt parva. I've got some Spiky moss and micranthemoides growing emersed in a sealed tuppaware tub too.

Question is, how well does this work with sloped substrates? What level do you fill to? Will the Aquasoil absorb water enough if I fill to the substrate level at the front? The slope is 1" at the front to 3" at the back.
