hi all

would corydoras habrosus uproot established cuba?
would it be unfair to keep them in a fully carpeted tank,
or would they muck about happily in the cuba?

many thanks

I can't tell you for sure but the ones I've seen in the shops are no bigger than ember tetra's and are tend to stick in midwater so I'd imagine you'd be a-okay.

Mine don't even uproot the HC I planted a few days ago, let alone get close to uprooting established HC. I was really surprised how well rooted it becomes when established, it took enough effort to rip loads of mine up last week, I had to really dig around in the substrate to get it all out.

I have HC and dwarf corys (corydoras pygmaeus)... they don't uproot it at all.

Can not say the same for the Amano shrimp though! Plant some fresh HC and they are all over it. If it isn't pushed deep enough it will be up in no time.
