thanks for reading.

great tank this is not a criticism but ive read some where here that the bark should be removed from wood, i must admit i like it there it makes a vary nice tree ! lol

thanks!
I don't mind criticism at all (if it would be).
This lil piece of tree li es from one tank to
other last six months. I don't see why to remove the bark. in case something will go
wrong I'll take a note for future.
+as you said - it looks much better with it

Thanks! I'm aware :). will see what happens. I'm not mad about breeding them but if it will happen - I'll take the hit. lol

Ok. So "we are" now 3 weeks old. lol.
First trim and few changes carried along with maintenance last Sunday.
1. - Light reduced. Beamsworks 30 + Beamsworks 50 was a bit too much.
Anubias nana did not like it at all. Reduced to 1 Beamswork plate of 50 LED's
Looks good at the moment. Light does not hit too strong for nana but still in a
reasonable amounts to the bottom line plants.
2. Added another small tree with a bit of Anubias right next to bigger tree.
3. Made a path of stones. The idea of path was there at the beginning. I thought to
leave just the area uncovered with chopping off the grass once needed. Decided
smash to bits one of my lil aquascaping rock. Created path of rock. Buried some
moss under it.

this is my time lapse. I was too lazy to setup my camera to get something decent
quality-wise - used my phone. 4 hours of time-lapse:

and few update pictures:

..I need to think about the background. So any good and quality ideas welcome. Could be a whole stand to be
able to adjust it by how the light falls

added 2 x 0.3w 3.5k LED's .
Evening chill-out. Will make my evenings more enjoyable
Got them in IKEA (usb powered)

very nice!
maybe you sould try to put one usb light on the back, comming form the cave.
i like the rock cave configuration.
cheers
Thanks. I'll see what I can do about the led light comming from the cave. Will see how it may work out.

wow you put a lot of time and effort into that tank, I think I spend about 5 minutes doing my trimming and another hour on water change which is basically me sitting around watching TV and dropping another bucket in every 15 minutes.

I love the Gourami spotted Dianos.

Very nice Lauris you must be pleased with it so far?
Thanks Steven!
Hah.. There is always ways to improve. I did a little changes today again. lol. It's probably just me.. added few plants in back corners. I'll let them settle in and will do some update. Probably this is last step in this tank. I have Idea to get a bit bigger tank - 40-50L with keeping the same idea but it will take a time. Im to lazy for now. But yess.. I'm kind of satisfied for the moment. lol

I like them too, lovely colours and marks. But much more I love yellow rasboras. I'll wait til they will pick up a bit in size and then will start to think about bit bigger tank with (probably) keeping idea of this layout.
Usual maintenance takes around 30min. Bit of trim and general water change. This was a bit more
