Hi I've planted Egeria Densa in my none co2 tank. I planted it straight into the gravel in bunches , it grows quickly and well but eventually the bottom 2 to 3 inches turn brown lift from the substrate and float all over the tank, am I doing something basically wrong ?

Never used excel but do use a liquid co2. Are all liquid CO2 the same ? Plants appear to grow healthy especially new growth from original stems, but only bottom seems to go yellow and rot making it detach from substrate and float everywhere.

Liquid CO2 causes issues with certain stem plants. Egeria should grow fast so trimming off the old growth keeping the new greener growth
