Hi all,
I'm going to be ordering a couple of nano tanks next week.... not sure whether to get the Fluval or Eheim tanks... one tank will be planted with a few small fish and the other will house shrimp
As I see it:
Eheim...
+ Eheim Quality
+ Light looks really classy
+ Neat lighting and ability to add an extra light
+ Filter system looks really robust
- filter is potentially obtrusive / distracting
- Filter and light use the same bracket, so to upgrade or change the filter you'd need to change the light
Fluval...
+ comes with substrate
+ slightly cheaper
+ can easily replace / upgrade filter to a hang on or canister....
- fittings look slighty cheap compared to the eheim
Anyone got any opinions either way?
The fluval looks like a practical choice, but there are some amazing-looking Eheim tank videos on youtube....
