Bit of a long shot but does anybody have an old version of the Eheim ControlCenter software for controlling/monitoring their electronic filters?
I splashed out on the special USB wire you need and excitedly downloaded the software only to find that it bears no resemblance to, and seems far inferior to, the software described in the manual:

Frankly it's next to useless and the whole thing feels like a massive con.
It looks like the old version ran on Windows XP and they half-heartedly "updated" it for later versions of Windows (and then of course removed all trace of the old version from their website).
