Eleocharis Acicularis

hi, will this plant grow with its roots emersed? (i know most plants are grown this way but i want to get it in the tank before i go on holiday so i need to order it) or will it flop over and just die? or when i plant it do i trim it down to about an ich to 2 inches tall? thanks.

Most definately. You can buy large pots emmersed from garden centres (pond section). When I bought mine I just trimmed it right down and planted in my aquarium.

wow, i didnt know it was a pond plant as well. right cheers for your help, how low do you recommend i trim it?

i heard you can literally just mow the stuff?

when you plant it from emerged state, trim it to 1 cm.
