hi, i planted some of this in my new tank and as it is not underwhater all of the 'grass like leaves' are stuck together rather than it fanning out when it is underwater. will it still grow ok?
When I've seen hairgrass at TGM growing emmersed, they're not all stuck together but they're not finely fanned out. It's about half way.
I would of thought once they dry out a bit they'd breakup?
might be because i have been religious with my spray misting so they are always wet. as i fly off to iceland on saturday, do you think i should put more water in the tank to cover the plants? and then when i come to do my main 'plant up' i can drain some???????????
I would do what I've done in the past for normal plants.
Put the plant pot in a bowl of water so that the roots can uptake when they need it.
As long as the plant is in an environment that won't totally dry out then I would of thought it'd be ok.
