Eleocharis acicularis

Very easy. Actually all the Eleocharis acicularis sell at local fish shop (Singapore) is grown emerse. I even visit the farm to see how they grow their plants. In my experience it doesn't require special threatment

would you care to share these not so specil treatments?

Hi all,
If it really is Eleocharis acicularis, it grows very well immersed or emersed. It's a rare plant in England, but really common around the turloughs in W. Ireland, you get flowering plants carpeting the exposed marl (sticky flocculated calcium carbonate) when the water level falls, but in some years it must be underwater, and vegetative, from from one year to the next.
cheers Darrel
