Eleocharis acicularis, I bought a few pots from garden centre, How hard do you reckon it is to make it grow imersed????

Hopeing its a real easy to do task as it was the cheaper option than buying imersed form straight away.

Thoughts? Anyone done this before? o_O

Very easy. Actually all the Eleocharis acicularis sell at local fish shop (Singapore) is grown emerse. I even visit the farm to see how they grow their plants. In my experience it doesn't require special threatment

    Hi all,
If it really is Eleocharis acicularis, it grows very well immersed or emersed. It's a rare plant in England, but really common around the turloughs in W. Ireland, you get flowering plants carpeting the exposed marl (sticky flocculated calcium carbonate) when the water level falls, but in some years it must be underwater, and vegetative, from from one year to the next.
