Emersed growth of MC

I have been growing emerged Monte Carlo for a while now and it all seems to do really well but then gets yellow slowly and then gets fungus. Is there anything I can do to help them not go yellow and get a fungus? I water them with rain water and they are growing in plastic bins outside. They get about 4 hours of sun but not fully as they dry out.

PS: They are growing in a substrate of Aquaforest

Any help will be appreciated.

I used to spray with light ferts sometimes, may help?

I was thinking of that. Anything specific?

Perhaps you dont have enough humidity inside the container?
