Just wanted to say that after seeing Dave's easy connectors for air lines, I went hunting, and found these

http://www.osmotics.co.uk/union-connect ... -p-55.html

So I got two and they arrived today, along with my new FE's (more on those below). I thought I would set one up to see if it was air tight. Holding it in a glass it was a bit tricky to see what was going on with all the bubbles from the diffuser, but after some trickery I can say it was air tight. I guess the bubbles wouldn't have been coming out of the diffuser if it wasn't.

I also managed to break my diffuser taking it off the tubing in order to attach the easy connector!! Oh the irony!

Two quick points, I have a very short section of tubing between the connector and diffuser so that it doesn't show behind the plants, its bigger than the ones Dave showed us. Also I pushed the tubing as far as it would go into the the connector as if you look down it you can see there are o-rings inside the connector, presumably to create the seal. Once in, I pulled it hard and it didn't budge. Jobs a godden :)

Right to the FE's just wanted to point out this site

I got 4x 2kg FE's for 46quid, that's £11.50 each which is a bargain.

They don't have collections of FEs often but worth keeping an eye on just in case. They had 7 2kg FE's go for 60quid not so long ago which is £8.50 each!!! Complete bargain!

Hope those two things are of use to someone or people :)
