Having read many reviews both good and bad on several filters I was wondering what the general opinion is on here?
I'm looking at either of these for my 240L tank.

Fluval FX4 - I like the idea of filter the attachment for cleaning, highest flow rate, however, will have to restrict the flow to get through an external heater as 16/22 seems to be the biggest fitting on an external heater.

Oase biomaster 600 thermo, has a built in heater which meets my goal of not having the heater in the tank, lowest flow of them all.

AquaEl Ultramax 2000 highest flow rate with 16/22 tubing prefiter looks more sensible than the Oase one.

I have the Oase, with the coarser pre filter pads, bottom tray with foam and then the rest with biological media. Haven’t experienced loss of flow problems reported by many others and cleaning profiler is a doddle. Very well made.
