After more than a year being without a fish tank I finally got one.

60x35x35 Beta tank.
Oase 350 canister filter with build in heater.
Twinstar lights.
Pressurised CO2.

Started with about 50% light intensity and 6 hours on every week went up a little, now almost 4 weeks later the light is about 70% and 7.5 hours on.
Today the first 3 cherry shrimp west of in cause the water parameters were good for a few days. Some Diantoms, but nothing to worry about.

Pictures will follow when I'm able to find out how that's done again.

There is something about an empty tank.

Good product and it's 5cm deeper, comes with a cover glass and mat for a lower price than that big Japanese brand.

Twinstar light, you just got to love it.

Than I had to go to China for some hardscape material :D (neah, I was there for a short holliday, but went to my friends shop and indeed brought some stones and wood back to Holland)

Those stones I could resist.

Placing in the tank was easy.

Always looks a bit messy after just being planted, I assure you, it does look better now, I safe those pictures for next time;):p

Almost everything is doing well, already been trimming away, I do have a slight staghorn issue which I hope to get under control by lowering the light intensity and spot treating with excel.

Also changed some plants (reineckii mini just planted in the picture) on the right side (gonna do that on the left side too, but pondering on which plant to use there) and planted some HC on the stones here and there.
