A few notable mistakes I have learnt from/done:

  • Plant in dry substrate, not wet (otherwise left with holes and uneven substrate!
  • I messed up humidity and so burnt a few leaves
  • Should have added white sand later on into the dry start phase as soil ran into the white a little and grew a little algae also
Also my area of planting has been off. The Repens I bought where slightly taller and 'stemmy' and so I planted them behing the Reineckii mini. I now realise this was a bad mistake as the Reineckii is much bigger and bushier.

The Eleocharis has only started to get proper new growth and is not getting overshadowed by the Reinecki mini.

Opinions on maybe pulling the Reinecki mini from the left and planting it in the back right and move the Repens in its place?
Also would you guys take out the Eleocharis and just let the MC grow in the space?

Any advice would be great as I know I have messed up the planting structure.
