First tank, blanket weed issues

I started my first tank this year in the last few weeks have developed blanket weed it is sticking to everything from glass to plants, I have 4 or 5 different plants including a couple of grasses, sorry don't know the names, the fish are 4 swords, 4 bueosaires tetra, 3 tiger tetra, 6 corydoras. Tank is 61 x 41 x 30 cm. Can you give any clues as to what I should be doing to eradicate the algae, it looks like pond blanket weed to me. I have an external filter tank and a UV lamp. Remove what you can manually and you need some Amano shrimp to keep on top of it, may cut back the light little till under control, if using CO2 check (or do a) pH profile.
