I don't know if you already know, but I got some Cherry Barbs at the weekend. I've done quite a bit of research on them and know that they're quite easy to breed. I'm keen on doing that.

The thing is, their tank has some MTS, and I'm thinking of chucking in some Cherry Shrimp. Will these guys be a problem for potential Cherry Barb eggs? e.g. will they eat them or whatever?

Cheers :)

I use to use cherry shrimps in my hatching tubs when I had killies. Never had a problem, they kept the eggs clean and only ate the eggs that had fungused up.

Thanks for sharing that sqiggley! Anyone got any other experiences? I would have guessed the MTS would be the main culprits - anyone had any experiences with them?

with the way cherry barbs breed theyre the ones that will eat the eggs lol
