Hi all,
Over the last year, I've been gradually losing fish. They either get bloat or get a small mass that then ruptures, I've never seen what was inside that mass until now....

I managed to get one of the barbs that has recently developed a mass in a bag as I thought I saw something poking from the lump. This is what came out with very gentle pressure, though i'm not sure it has come out whole and doesn't seem to be moving. Any idea what it is or how I treat it!
Apologies for the photos. I circled where on the fish it came from and appeared to be in a cyst-like lump with a small protrusion.
The tank has been treated with esha 2000, levamisole and most recently, this week esha gdex in desperation.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!
If anyone is interested i'll try for better photos (or get the originals off my camera but I was in a rush tonight).
