Flash gun for Canon 300D?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for cheap flash guns for the EOS 300D? I've read the 420EX/430EX are supposed to be good value, but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend anything else (cheaper ).

I'm interested in the adjustable flash head as my current cheapy is fixed.

Thoughts?

maybe consider sigma?...ive used and still do use sigma flash heads. swivel heads etc. pretty good for the money

my ultimate flash head was a metz but a tad expensive.
