Hi there, new to this hobbie! Got myself a fluval flex 57 litre in November.

Plants are:

hydrocotyla verticlata
ludwigia peruviana
lobelia cardinalis wavy
echindorus bleheri (amazon sword)
rotala rotundifolia (at the back)
micrantehmium monte carlo

Live stock - neon tetras and pygmy cories

No co2 or fertiliser to start with but I started having algae issues. After reading up about this I started squirting some liquid carbon daily and ferts and also put in a tropica plant 60 system (this seems to have helped with algae).

Plants have all grown nicely except the monte carlo - I was wanting this to carpet. At the front right you can see the original monte carlo has not grown much at all. I put new monte carlo in at the front a few weeks ago and hoping this will survive better.

Loving this forum and hobbie - hope you enjoy the pics.

That looking nice.
I'm just about to start a flex 57 my self, have you got a full Co system running yet or are you still on the tropica 60.
Thanks - yeah still tropica 60. Honestly - don't know if it is making a difference, but pretty happy with the growth so far. Cheers
