hi guys,

im new on here so first and formost... hello! :)

im setting up a 100 litres tank with twin fluorescent lights 14 watt and 15watt and no co2 and im looking for some nice and easy foreground plants. i really like the look of dwarf hairgrass but i dont think i can meet its demands...

does anyone have any suggestions?

cheers.

andy

Not like hairgrass but pogestemon helferi is doing really well in my low light 5-gallon with no CO2. Stays pretty low especially if you trim it on occasion.

Marsilea crenata did fine in my cube until it got swamped with BBA.

The only vaguely grass-like plant that might work would be E.tennellus as far as I know. It will take a while to get going in those conditions though.
