Fx6 and surface skimmers

Hi guys well bit the bullet and bought 2 fx6 filters to replace the aps 2000efx filters
My question is has anyone successfully fitted surface skimmers to there fx6 filters

The big problem with the FX6 and what you're trying to do is the hose size; I've not come across a skimmer attachment designed for 25mm.
The biggest skimmer attachment I've seen is 16mm.
If you're really into your DIY you might be able to make something yourself but it wouldn't be a simple task and also might not work.

Other people might have some better suggestions.
