Glosso Going up Problems

Hi, Quick question about glosso - mine is growing up which I thought was a symptom of inadequate light levels. Currently running a six hour photoperiod and 18w T5 over 30 l tank. The water depth over the glosso is about 25 cm. Currently have C0 2 running 24 / 7 and easycarb. Will lengthening the photo period help or do I just need brighter lights?

Thanks, Tom

Cut it back and it will send out more runners which tend to stay low. Every third plant or so in the run will reach for the surface, but cut them back too :)

Thanks for the advice guys, Just set up the tank (12 days ago) with ADA malaya so wasn't dosing anything but I'm using a mature filter. Just tested and ammonia and nitrites are nil and nitrate is < 12 so maybe adding some TPN + will help

Thanks, Tom
