I'm looking for some natural looking gravels that really do come in a nice range of sizes.

By natural I mean without any bright whites any yellows and quite grey looking
The dennerle platahunter river is about as close as I've found but the S which is supposed to be 4-8mm is more 8mm+.
A lot of the gravels I have seen are a bit too fine and get blown around by the filter a bit too easy.

Suggestions welcome please.

This works well in my tank, it comes in different sizes and shades, some of them way too garish for planted scapes but also some more natural hues. It’s a Maidenhead Aquatics product so best to view in-store as they don’t have the full range on their website.

The grain size I have is about 3mm, which is advised here for topping soil based substrates as it allows good water circulation. It’s also the perfect weight to be agitated by a syphon but not get sucked up so probably wouldn’t get blown about by a filter either.

How much do you want and is it grey that you want?
'Grey' is probably not the best descriptor, below is a picture of the Dennerle one dry and aside fro the odd yellow in there is quite okay looking.
It's for an aquascaper 600 so footprint of 600 x 500; it would be to fill out the whole aquarium though and no other substrate.

Something I should have said before; local supplies I found before from the trade/DIY/garden centres were no good though.
