Hi everyone!

I have just arrived to my father in law house and I realised that their water is kind of green. I know their background is green and doesn’t help on pictures but, you do you think it’s green algae?

If so, what shall I do? They don’t have any plants which maybe could help?

Thank you I’m advancw :)

Waterchanges and add some cheap plants, floaters would be optimal as they reduce light and have unlimited CO2 to grow and use Nitrogen.
Make sure the filter is working as that's the only thing removing ammonium/nitrite/nitrate at the moment.
