It is 75 years since Guernsey was liberated from the German occupying forces .
There was going to be a huge island wide celebration with over 90 visiting, military vehicles, that along with our resident 50+ military vehicles were set to parade around our island in a huge convoy.

Numerous attractions were planned and crowds of 1,000’s were expected to descend into our main town, but of course, Corona Virus, has put an end to all these celebrations!

So we have had to compromise with small family gatherings are radio shows but many people have made the effort to decorate their houses and our whole island is now a riot of colourful bunting and flags.
My good friend ‘Beardy’ has made this great little video filmed over the last few weeks.

@dw1305 best thing to do with a dead Cordyline!
