Hi everyone!
This is my second high tech tank, first attempt at an iwagumi. The tank is completly new, and 2 days ago i planted it with H. Cuba. Some of it floated, the rest started to melt. It recieves 7 hours of light, plenty of co2 ( maybe even too much?) and micro and macro nutrients.
I really would like this scape to succeed with this plant, and would be very greatful for some help. (The scape looks a bit messy now due to soil sliding)

Light: chihiros wrgb II 7 hours a day at maximum
Soil: ADA amazonia V.2 ( planted some capsules)

plenty of co2 ( maybe even too much?)
This is not even remotely possible.
Light: chihiros wrgb II 7 hours a day at maximum
Maybe even too much?
It's almost certain that this is the problem.
Lower the intensity if you can to about 20%.
CO2 makes plants grow. Light makes them use CO2 faster.

Cheers,

My Cuba went through the same thing when I first planted from tropica 1-2 grow cups in March. Looked miserable for 2 weeks, before bouncing back into an awesome carpet. I’d say it’s normal. I was only doing 6 hours of light at the time too.
