Aquadip have sent us some whoppers. Echinodorus Argentinensis.

Apart from being bloomin huge, what exactly IS a mother plant ? (They are amazing by the way, just interested what the term means).

Mother plants are the largest plants that are commercially available to hobbyists. Much older and much stronger than younger plants and they make fantastic specimen plants for larger aquariums or for those looking for a centre piece.

So its got nothing to do with the plant reproducing lots of baby plants or something ? lol. I had visions of it being the plant version of a baby factory :geek:
