Hi,

Currently running a citric acid DIY system on my Rio 125, definite improvement over liquid CO2, but have been told that proper pressurised CO2 would work even better.

I've been offered free (out of date) 2kg CO2 extinguishers which would save money from buying the citric acid and baking soda every 3 to 4 weeks do it would pay for itself (eventually).

Looking at the CO2 art regulator and a 3 in 1 tropica diffuser, any thoughts?

The fe is a much better option especially if you can get them free I think one fe would last you about 2/3 months but every tank is different the reg would definitely pay for its self

Welcome to UKAPS.
You will definitely get more response to specific questions by posting them in the appropriate sub-forums
Pressurised co2 definitely yields the best results, co2 art are great regulators and I’ve heard the tropica diffusers are good too.
Cheerio,
Ady.
