Hi

My Taiwan bee tank's PH is around 4.6, and KH is 0, how can increase the PH to 6.2 without increasing KH? I've done a water change and removed the alder cones and catappa leaves but PH is still too high. I was thinking of using Baking soda but don't know how safe this is for the Taiwan bee shrimp.

Thanks

David

I've heard Salty Shrimp GH+ mentioned a lot. You probably want to check other things like GH and TDS first though, so you don't cause another issue whilst trying to fix the first one.

I use salty shrimp GH+

Just added a bit of backing soda and the PH has come up to 6.2 and KH increased by 0.5

Don’t know much about your shrimp, but TNC GH booster is what I use for my very soft water, plus give them a indication of your Ph that’s very low they will advise on dosage
