Help required regarding a thread "TRY To FIND IT"

Somebody ? cannot remenber who had posted a thread regarding carpetting plants that planted for a few weeks and were suffering issue. The thread when on for ages about 30 pages / replies, concerns were raised substrate, water, plants etc. The plants started to fade after a couple of days - leaves looked brown / burnt. I think the thread was posted around Christmas but dont quote me.

saintly or Arron spring to mind but I am no sure.

Themuleous has something like that but I can't find anything that 30 pages long. I think his was split over 2 threads
