help with co2

    hello, i want to know if i can drill a small hole in ext filter inlet pipe & put co2 airline into it for better co2 distribution, im sick of cleaning dirty diffusers, lol

    I don't think there's a problem doing that. Although when your injecting at higher rates it could be a problem with build up in the filter.

    thanks for the reply, tank is 180ltrs running at 2 bubbles for second, i have filler lower section of filter with eheim plastic balls so co2 should hit these first & diffuse properly i hope, do u think this will b ok

    I'm not sure how you mean.

    But I'd make sure that the co2 is rising up against the flow so try and put the end of the tube at the bottom where the water is suck in towards the bottom.

    co2 at 2 bubbles per second, inlet waters first contact are eheim bio balls (like reactor balls) im hoping that this will disperse the co2 better aswell, i was going to drill the hole just above filter inlet basket thingy
