How to clean drop checker?

In my DC i have noticed s few small white particles and they are bugging me Eventually it will make the DC harder to read, has anyone else found this and how do you clean it? I would use bleach but i dont want to get a small residue which could affect the readings?

I rinse mine under the tap, then fill it with tap water and shake it vigorously then leave it upside down so the tap water drains to the opening where I draw it out with my syringe needle.

Then repeat the fill and shake with some 4dKH just to dilute any tap water that may be left.

use a cotton bud so you can scrape it. then wash it thoughly with water.

I just drop mine in bleach for a couple of hours and they come out clean, never had any probs.

Have to agree, I use bleach too, then after rinsing with tap water I rinse with a little tub of tank water
