A friend of mine recently got into the hobby, and he read something about applying vaseline to filter seals.
I searched around the forum a bit and discovered that this was a bad idea, and that silicone grease is the way to go.
He's already lubed the gaskets with the stuff...
How can we safely get the vaseline off so we can apply silicone grease instead?
