How to rid of water staining??

Hi guys
Since doing a scape with seiryu stone, my water is silly hard, with it having no hood it evaporates a lot. But the hard water seems to leave water staining on the glass, how is the best way to clear this of without scratching the glass??

i use a touch of vinegar on a sponge during waterchange and a good wipe with a wet cloth before filling back up

stanley knife blade with damp cloth under to catch the scrapings.

Thanks guys, il give the vinegar a try. Don't think i realy trust myself not to scratch the glass with a knife

You can get straight edged blades and a holder for scraping glass, e.g. stickers, paint spots etc. just take your time and you wont do any damage. link below:

I use one of these now! Tetratec Aquarium Cleaning Algae Scraper for Glass
Wish I had got it ages ago, might have prevented some of the scratches on my tanks
