So I've had Keith the Ancistrus for about a year and came to the conclusion keith was actually a female, I made this ground breaking identification 4 months ago due to her only having short bristles around her chin, and I've kept to that belief until today.
Well stone the crows, I came home tonight and low and behold Keith is stuck to the glass proudly showing off HIS full head of bristles, turns out the early reports were wrong, all wrong and Keith is actually male.. 🙄
