Has anyone had their hygrophila pinnatifida grow out the top of their tank? Mine has started to grow out the top where I have it on some wood, but all the leaves that go above the water line just shrivel up.

Short of having to spray the leaves every hour, which isn’t practical, does anyone have any tips of how to keep the leaves alive?

Also loving how the Ludwigia Rubin is growing out the surface and shows no signs of stopping. I will cut it and replant soon though.

Try putting a plastic cup over them to raise the humidity creating a cloche, do poke a few holes in the cup for air flow.
This will help them to establish over time and tou can remove the cup as they grow.
