Very nice part of the country, we go there a couple of times year. And not too far from the epicentre of UK aquascaping, Aquarium Gardens ;)
have already decided to switch from a 6ft tank down to a 4ft x 2ft.
I think your idea of downsizing to a 120 is a good one. It's amazing how costs (and maintenance) can spiral out of control with a much larger tank.
It's not just the initial outlay on hardware, it's also the cost of hardscape, CO2, plants, water and electric bills etc. EA Aquascaper 120 is probably one of the best out there atm.
