I'm wondering what light to use over my Do!aqua cube. I have a 9w CF that is currently on the 10l, but I want to make sure I'm not blasting so much light that liquid carbon is not enough. Does anyone have any recommendations or guidance on what I should use?

Here's what's sitting in front of me now :?

IMO it will be better to get something less powerful for this kind of tank. But I'm not sure can you find something less than the 9 W...
Maybe LED or halogen, which to place higher above the tank, to reduce the intensity and still to have the beam of light concentrated in the tank.. Actually I think this is why the Do!Aqua light is so high above the wabi kusa dish. The lamp is 60 W :wideyed: , which is quite a lot of light . It is probably ok for emersed plants...with no CO2 restriction :geek:
