Hey all,

I am busy planning a new set up. I want to make an in-line CO2 reactor system. However, incorporated into this reactor, I want to place a heater for the tank so as to avoid having the unsightly heater in the tank.

For a 200 litre tank I think a 200w heater should suffice. None the less, I wanted to have the opinion of others as to :

1. The wattage
2. Possible set-up into a CO2 reactor
3. Suggested alternatives to an external heating system for an aquarium.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Cheers

Hey,

Ok, Filtration is an Eheim 2226 external. I do not have the canister for the Eheim 2328, although I have the head unit for one. I do not have a sump for this set-up which is the options offered by DIY King .... (though his videos are stellar stuff !!). My idea was to build 2 canister units, one pre-filter and another as a floating bed CO2 "reactor". Clearly, what I am trying to achieve is to have all the "technics" external and out of the way .... invisible.
