Anybody recommend a decent internal filter suitable for a 60L tank, which I hope will become quite well stocked with plants in the future. A few people have told me to ditch the elite 100 stingray filter I have.

External is not an option, I don't want even more clutter on the floor.

Would probably require chopping of my hood. Will check them out though.

Can't find any dimensions for the fluval ranges . Just a side question, would I be able to put the media from my current filter in so that I don't lose the bacteria colonies?

I have a Fluval plus 4 or a Fluval U2 going spare both only used for a couple of months.
I'll see if I can measure them

IME/O get an Ehiem Aquaball. Best internal filter I've ever used (apart from the Juwel integrated ones).

Too late, realised the Fluval would fit and bought that. I like the flow adjustment features on the Fluval, I know Eheim have a better reputation but I liked the Fluval more.
