I’m getting rid of both my tanks, quite simply I’m not enjoying the hobby. Both are planted and have combo of fish, shrimp and snails. Is there a correct order to breaking down a tank to sell / give away each component from live stock to hard scape to plants and then tank etc….

cheers

Probably put the welfare of the fish before anything else you could see if any local club or society has members interested or advertise eg catfish or chiclid communitys. You might get somewhere selling as a complete set up . That way you can check potential buyers of their fish knowledge. Sorry your losing interest maybe you will be back 😉

It's sad to here your in this position but I agree with paraguay, rehome the livestock first then everything else is simple. Plants can live for some time in buckets and equipment is easily stored.
