Wait until you have a few leaves...then you can remove the plantlet and tie to wood or rock/stone!...
If it is wood you can take the old leaf of the plant, and then staple it to the wood. Hopefully the new plant lets should attach, and when the old leaf has gone brown you can just pull it away.then you can remove the plantlet and tie to wood or rock/stone!.

Usually when the Java Fern plant has <"settled down"> it stops throwing some many new plantlets and just grows new leaves.Thanks Darrel, Ive got quite a few leaves sprouting so it looks like I am going to end up with a lot of plants if all goes well.
