Java moss turning white

I did a rescape recently and some of my plants were outside water for about half a day. I tried my best to spritz them with tank water periodically to keep them moist, but some dried. Besides losing a few leaves, everything is good. I noticed this discoloration however on my java moss bonsai. I moved it from a shaded area to direct light hoping it would create some shade for me to plant anubias without getting gsa all over it.

What do you guys think? Is this because it was out of the tank or because I moved it to bright light?

Hi all,
I don' think it will be a long term issue. They've lost the chlorophyll, and I don't think the white tips will re-green. If you haven't used hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) or liquid carbon? It is probably the time out of the tank, but it may be a light issue as well. I'd just trim the white tips off and the moss should regrow OK.

cheers Darrel
