Jeremy's Osaka

Yes, it was a good write up, and nice use of sumatra wood.

I saw one of these new tanks recently though, and i wasn't impressed by the build quality of the cabinet.

Has anybody seen Jeremy's Osaka Tank in the latest PFK?

A very effective scape i thought (well done Jeremy :D )

The tank itself looks great too does anyone know anymore about it...

what are the lights? and how much do i have to part with for one? :D

I contributed a fair bit to the design and creation. It was fun working with Jeremy and Neil, the photographer.

Jeremy and I were running 10 litre buckets to and from a tap in a cleaning cupboard about 30 yards away, through two doors...

It's a 260 litre tank, so that's a lot of trips!

The lights are Hagen Dual Glo HO T5 but I can't seem to find anywhere on the net that stocks them seperately yet. My local Maidenhead Aquatics store stocks them, but I don't remember cost.

Here's one link I've found, for the whole package -

I really like the design and it would suit a minimalist-style interior decor. As Jer mentions, I think the design is more Swedish/Ikea-like, rather than Japanese.

I'd consider putting a bigger filter or two in it though, with glassware, of course!
