Hi all
my juwel lights gave out for the second time!
so I searched for an alternative and found that these Interpet led lights can be retro fitted to the underside of the existing lights
so I bought two for my trigon 350 corner tank
I didn't like them underneath the existing footings it just looked too busy
I got out my dremmel and cut away at the old light fittings
It looks much neater now

I've set up pressurised Co2 and using ei ferts daily
It's only been up 5 days but plant look like they have grown
This is my first attempt at high tec

Question
1. Am I in the high light bracket now ? I can't find any parr info but they are like looking at the compared to my old lights

2. Is there any truth in the rumour that if you have two photo periods per day rather than one it reduces the threat of algae?

Judging by the type of Led and cost of these light I would be surprised if these Leds were anything other than low light. Your T5s would have been high light in a Juwel tank.

No truth in light break in fact detrimental to plants. One light period is best.
