Hi guys,

i'm currently using EI dosing method, based on james' website.

33g KNO3
7g KPO4
250ml water

10g trace mix (not sure of trace composition)
250ml water

tank size is 90cmX45X45. i'm using Aquasoil Amazonia 2. therefore i'm dosing 10ml of macro solution every 2 days as compared to james recommendation of 5ml per 50litres of water.. my concern is not on N and P. but rather the K, as the soil do not provide additional K.

from my dosing, is it sufficient? besides pinholes, what signs will i see if there is a deficiency?

Hi,
Check this thread=> Lack of Potassium?

If you are dosing EI and if you are using the potassium salts KNO3/KH2PO4 as well as using Amazonia there is little chance that you would be K limited since the percentages of K added with these salts are higher than needed. You should therefore be more concerned about N and P if anything.

Cheers,
