Keeping posted plants healthy

I recently ordered two batches of plants, how ever only the first batch has been delivered, it seems the second may have got lost. I can't really do anything in the tank until I get the rest of the order, as I'm also waiting on a co2 diffuser. What would be the best way to keep the current plants healthy with out actually putting them in the tank?

You can keep them floating on the tank, no light and ferts.

It all depends what plants they are really, but most can be kept emersed.

i have kept mine in a large bucket for a week and just changed the water every day

just leave them floating is the best thing, as already suggested.
