The idea is to have all native tank (Aussie natives). It'll be a 2 species tank. about 40 threadfin rainbows + local glass shrimps to do the cleanup duty.
here's a photo of how I have placed the driftwood: tank photo
Here's a photo of the layout. It's not drawn to scale. The plants will be planted to accommodate curvature of the driftwood. layout
foreground:
Elatine gratioloides "Waterwort"
mid-ground:
Lilaeopsis brisbanica "Brisbane River Grasswort"
Limnophila fragrans
Pogostemon stellatus "Pogo"
Staurogyne leptocaulis
background:
Hygrophila angustifolia "Willow Hygro"
Myriophyllum muricatum "Berry Creek Milfoil" another photo
Vallisneria nana "Native Val"
The driftwood would get fern/moss treatment. Though finding a native variety is almost impossible unless I travel to the northern part of the country
Thans for the help
