Led lightning from Ali Express

Hi,

Is there someone who has experience with led lightning from Ali Express. I am thinking about buying this: https://bit.ly/2Ov6RjR

But it would be great if there is somebody out there who has some experience with this particular lightning or something simular. Is it any good or are there better alternatives out there...?

You might have a shock with these compared to Ali Express.

The most difficult on budeget led is the Color Rendering Index is rarely given. The given K value actualy says zip about CRI and 7000K from this factory can differ in color from an other facory. Thus you will not know how everything looks under this light till you switch it on.. It can be good and it can be bad..

Is it bad than you have to buy something else again.

That is why i personaly do not buy complete budget led ligh fixtures. Than i rather go DIY all the way and can do some DIY color rendering with combining different K values till i'm satisfied.

Higher end quality LED is always labeled with a CRI number or have the ability to change this such as the Kessil from above..

In the end CRi still is just a quantitative measure, it is you personaly who has to like it. The plants do not mind nor care much about CRI.

The lights you link to seems to have a color rendering option.. That seems already a very nice option..

Thank you so much. I will get one for a houseplant for a dark corner in my edit studio, I will let you guys now what I think of it. And I will look into the Kessil H160's as well for my aquarium.

I have as well question...Can someone experienced tell me if this lights are good inaf strong for my 500l tropical fish tank...I know it hard to say from the pictures only,because the seller can lie etc etc...I spoke to him and he told me the lights are powerfull...What im looking for is the correct spectrum and PAR and colour. ..Im planning to buy two lights..Please if anyone can check it if its good idea or not...Here is the link : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fis...lgo_pvid=3c0cea04-0146-4b21-9dbf-cab1d0b32fb5

I have four Kessil 160 along with six 28w T5 tubes on my 500l and i would NOT call it high light compared to the ADA RGB solars. LED chips are changing so fast it is hard to compare one with another without PAR readings which are hard to get.

I spoke to him and he told me the lights are powerfull...

compared to what typical sales talk to me a load of BS.

Using wattage to give lights output is easy but pretty useless with LED chips changing so fast, Lumens output is better but PAR output is very useful which is why they dont put it as they dont know it or it would put you off the product
